The Democrat Party suffered another major blow on Thursday (29th June), when the Republican-dominated Congress passed two bills that hit a key voter group of the Dems, namely illegal immigrants.
This follows on from a recent report by Just Facts that suggests that up to 5.7 million illegals immigrants voted in previous US elections.
One bill denies federal grant money to sanctuary cities, and another, called Kate’s Law, after Kate Steinle, a woman murdered by an illegal immigrant, increases the penalties for deported aliens who try to return to the United States.
The two bills hit the illegal voter demographic, first by deporting them to countries from where they can't interfere in the electoral process of the United States, and secondly by scaring the rest of them into keeping as low a profile as possible. This is estimated to be taking away millions of votes from the Democrats and may be one of the reasons for their unexpected setback in the recent Congressional special election in Georgia, a vote they were widely expected to win.
Kate's Law passed with a vote of 257 to 157, with one Republican voting no. His name is Justin Amash from Michigan, a "White-presenting" man of Arab background.
The Sanctuary Cities bill, aimed at denying federal grants to sanctuary cities, passed with a vote of 228-195 with 7 Republicans voting no. These are:
- Mario Diaz-Balart (Florida), Cuban Catholic
- Carlos Curbelo (Florida), Cuban Catholic
- Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (Florida), Jewish Cuban Protestant
- Justin Amash (yes, him again), Arab
- Pete King (New York), Irish Catholic
- Daniel Donovan (New York), Irish-Polish Catholic
- David Reichert (Washington), WASP cuck
As the above list shows, the Republicans who voted against these two excellent bills all had ethnic interests that probably influenced them, all except perhaps David Reichert, unless there is something about him that he is not admitting.
As the Republican Party tries to carry out the will of the American voters who want a tougher line on immigration, it will have to watch out for weaknesses in its own ranks, especially the three Cs --- Cubans, Catholics, and Cucks.
