Young lads are now safe again after alleged "sexual predator" Kevin Spacey checked into the same sex rehab centre that "totally cured" sex pervert and potted plant enthusiast Harvey Weinstein in only six days.
Actually, I wouldn't count on it. This is just part of an elaborate PR campaign by both celebrities who are likely to face serious criminal charges in the near future.
Oscar winner Spacey, the star of "American Beauty" and "House of Cards," has been accused of multiple acts of sexual impropriety, including an assault on actor Anthony Rapp, who was only 14 at the time.
Rapp claims Spacey lured him to his New York apartment then climbed on top of him and made sexual advances before Rapp managed to "wriggle free."
Spacey checked into the exclusive Meadows rehab centre near Phoenix Arizona at the end of last week. The centre combats sex addition with a program called “Gentle Path,” where clients take part in counselling and “expressive arts,” along with activities such as horse riding, yoga, tai chi, acupuncture, and "mindfulness" meditation.

Other celebrities treated there include Tiger Woods, Kate Moss, and Selena Gomez.
The website of the rehab centre reads:
“In a safe and nurturing community composed of their peers, men are guided on their journey of recovery by examining the underlying causes of addiction and co-occurring disorders.The goal is for these individuals to gain the courage to face difficult issues, including grief and loss; heal from emotional trauma; and become accountable for their own feelings, behaviours, and recovery.”
Whether the centre is effective or not is unclear, but it is certainly useful for any celebrity facing sex assault charges. Signing up for the treatment, which costs around $1000 a day, is a good way to signal to a judge and jury that one is "truly sorry," while also implying that one is an innocent "victim of an illness" -- an illness that makes you force yourself sexually on children and rape actresses, as is claimed in the case of Harvey Weinstein.
Attendance at the centre can save a celebrity sexual predator several years of hard time. The fact that both Weinstein and Spacey are in attendance suggests that both are expecting to face sexual assault or even rape charges in the near future.
