KASICH PREDICTS RISE OF MULTIPARTY SYSTEM — AN OPPORTUNITY FOR THE ALT-RIGHT?
Ohio Governor John Kasich has predicted the rise of a multiparty system in the USA in place of the old two-party system that effectively represents no one.
Kasich, speaking in an interview on ABC’s “This Week” program last Sunday (25th February), said both the big parties had failed American citizens and that a “multi-party system” could materialize sooner rather than later.
"We may be beginning to see the end of a two-party system. I’m starting to really wonder if we are going to see a multi-party system at some point in the future in this country. Because I don’t think either party is answering people’s deepest concerns and needs.”
Although Kasich was speaking from the perspective of a disappointed RINO who may be considering challenging Trump at the 2020 GOP convention, it is significant to see a major political figures expressing such a view.
The election of Trump in 2016 was a clear sign that the existing political order was outdated. America is clearly a much more "diverse" society than it was when the old two-party system arose. Accordingly, it deserves a much more diverse political system, with a number of smaller parties and an element of proportional representation, as in Europe, where identitarian and nationalist parties are able to frequently break into the political mainstream.

If a true multiparty system were to emerge, it would be an opportunity for the Alt-Right to move from being a metapolitical movement to being a political one, with actual elected members pursuing White identitarian issues.
Such a move, however, would mean leaving behind the worst excesses of the troll culture that have unfortunately come to define the movement in the minds of voters.
