PUTIN RELECTED IN RUSSIA - TRIUMPH FOR "TRUE DEMOCRACY"
Vladimir Putin has been re-elected President of Russia by an enormous landslide.
With around half the votes counted, Putin is leading with around 75% of the vote, with the Communist Party candidate and Stalin lookalike Pavel Grudinin in second place on around 15%. Eccentric right winger Vladimir Zhirinovsky is third with around 5% of the vote.
The Western media will of course sneer and snipe at the result, saying that Putin used the state apparatus to distort the result in his favour. But the fact is that Russia has a more democratic system than the Anglosphere countries. Unlike America and the UK, Putin does not impose mass immigration or gay marriage on his people.
A true democracy, remember, represents the best interests of the people. But in the West, corrupt elites control the political process through their control of the media, and then run their countries in ways that are extremely destructive to the interests of ordinary people.
Russians are to be envied, not pitied on this glorious day.
